LADY BRAVES LOWER-STATE RUNNERS-UP
The Cheraw Lady Braves softball team finished the season just like they started it, in dominant fashion. They earned a district title and the #2 spot in the lower-state by eliminating some pretty stiff competition battling their way through the 2A playoffs and logging some miles.

The Lady Braves eliminated Dillon by defeating them twice. Cheraw then went to Bishop England and double-dipped the Lady Bishops, who had won nine consecutive district titles, in route to winning the District 6 Championship and earning a spot in the lower-state championship playoffs where 3 of the final 4 teams were representatives from Region VIII.

The Lady Braves were not content with the district title and they went right back to work as they defeated Central, Andrew Jackson, and Hanahan before losing to the Hawkettes in the lower-state championship game.

Congratulations Lady Braves - Great Season!!!
